York Health Economics Consortium (UK)

The York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) was established in 1986 by the University of York to provide a range of services, including modelling, service review, needs assessment, economic evaluation, information searching, evidence synthesis, and applied research and training to the National Health Service (NHS) and the pharmaceutical and health care industries. YHEC carries out work for clients including the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Department of Health, National Patient Safety Agency, NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, local authorities, and medical device and biotech companies in the UK and Europe, as well as major global pharmaceutical companies.
